Are artists born or made? In Chris Ogiebo’s case, it appears
to be both. His artistic journey began when he was a young
child with drawing on the walls of his (artist) father’s house
and in his schoolbooks. Later on he turned his artistic talent
towards wood sculpture before finally immersing himself in
the world of painting; and it was there where he succeeded
in incorporating the lively and bold strokes of the sculptor
with the engagingly and vividly nuanced color palette of the
